SSMO Ministries Corporation in Beaverton, OR is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair building systems ensuring a safe, clean environment. The role involves preventive maintenance, light plumbing, HVAC tasks, and routine upkeep of doors, lighting, and fixtures.

Candidates should have 2+ years of property maintenance experience, be able to read directions in English, and pass background/fingerprint screening.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in general property maintenance, construction, or related trade.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine the most efficient method of repair.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive inspections of property.
• Service equipment in the attic and crawlspaces.
• Minor plumbing repair.
• Painting – as assigned.
• Repair doors, locks, walls, lights, windows and ceilings as assigned.
• Install, move, and remove equipment and furniture as needed.
• Change air-filters on HVAC equipment per maintenance schedule.
• Pressure-wash entrances, pathways and parking lots.
• Inspect roofs and clean gutters.
• Ensure safety regulation compliance.
• Recommend material and equipment purchases when replacements are needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
