Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or certifications in maintenance-related trades preferred.
• Experience in facility maintenance, building services, or similar in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Proficiency with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and basic power tools.
• Familiarity with CMMS and Work Order Management Systems; comfortable using Microsoft Office.
• Experience with BAS (Building Automation Systems) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
• Service HVAC systems: replace filters, clean ducts, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Inspect and maintain electrical systems, including lighting and wiring.
• Perform plumbing repairs: fix leaks, unclog drains, and maintain fixtures.
• Complete light carpentry work: repairing doors, windows, furniture.
• Paint and finish surfaces for upkeep and aesthetics.
• Maintain outdoor areas: landscaping and general upkeep.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery.
• Respond quickly to emergency repair requests.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and work orders.
• Install and set up new equipment and ensure proper functionality.
• Ensure safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors.
• Provide excellent service to internal teams by addressing facility-related concerns.
