Job summary

Cadence, Inc. is seeking a skilled Facility Maintenance Technician III to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of our facility systems and manufacturing infrastructure at our Staunton, VA site.

Qualifications

4+ years of industrial maintenance or facilities maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Strong experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and equipment.
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
Experience with PLCs, automation systems, robotics, sensors, and industrial controls preferred.
Licensed or Certified Electrician strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, machinery, and facility equipment.
Diagnose electrical faults using schematics, meters, testing equipment, and diagnostic tools.
Perform maintenance on motors, motor controls, starters, relays, VFDs, and electrical panels.
Support wiring, lighting, and distribution systems; assist with upgrades and projects.
Ensure safety, compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
