Job summary

Gardner Health Services is recruiting two full-time Utility Worker II positions located at our Downtown San Jose offices. Under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, you will perform maintenance tasks that may be complex and may supervise custodial staff, and interact with vendors to coordinate projects.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years in maintenance with gardening and custodial knowledge, know power tools, and can lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance with knowledge of gardening and custodial work.
• Experience and ability to supervise maintenance activities.
• Extensive knowledge of power tools and equipment used in building and maintenance trades.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance care that may be complex and extensive in nature.
• Supervise the work of other maintenance and custodial personnel as needed.
• Interact with vendors and coordinate maintenance projects with the Facilities Supervisor.
