Job summary
O'Reilly Auto Parts in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a mid-level Maintenance Specialist II to oversee upkeep, repair and preventive maintenance for the distribution center's facilities, equipment and systems. You will repair forklifts and corporate vehicles, perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry and fabrication tasks, maintain conveyors and logs, and assist with office moves and safety audits.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years' experience, strong multi-skill capabilities, and may benefit from
Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar maintenance position
- Strong electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and fabrication skills
- Spanish language is highly desired and beneficial
Responsibilities
- Repair distribution center equipment including forklifts and vehicles and maintain a detailed history log of repairs
- Perform electrical tasks such as data and voice cabling; perform plumbing, carpentry and fabrication duties
- Maintain distribution center conveyor systems by diagnosing and troubleshooting problems
- Conduct preventative maintenance on conveyors and other HVAC units and systems
- Perform routine general maintenance of the facility, office buildings and grounds
- Assist with moves and setup of cubicles and office furniture
- Provide after-hours emergency response and uphold safety standards
