Job summary

Road To Responsibility, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Operations Assistant to support the Director and AVP in maintaining RTR properties.

Responsibilities include repairs, safety compliance, basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and landscape tasks, vehicle operations, and logistics support for events. The role requires a High School diploma, ability to work independently, strong problem-solving, organization, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work independently and flexibly with others.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a calm, collegial and assertive manner with people from all walks of life.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building repairs as directed.
• Comply with town, state, fire and safety codes.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical and landscape tasks.
• Drive company vehicles including a box truck, vans and pull trailer.
• Deliver, swap and transport vehicles.
• Move furniture and assist with donor pickups and event setups.
• Maintain safety and access/egress of buildings, snow/ice removal, etc.
• Attend required meetings and participate in training.
