Job summary

YMCA is seeking a Maintenance Technician I at our Hudson facility. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and day-to-day operation of building systems including HVAC, boilers, and pools.

The role involves handling multiple projects, repairs, and on-call responses to support reliable facility operations. Under District Engineer supervision, you will maintain logs, perform PMs, and ensure compliance with OSHA and local codes.

Qualifications

• Must have strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills are required.
• License(s) required or the ability to obtain within stated timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance on HVAC, boiler, and pool systems.
• Inspect safety systems, alarms, eyewash stations, and emergency lighting per PMs.
• Coordinate and supervise contracted PMs and respond to daily work orders and emergencies.
