Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to perform building and site maintenance at a Cox location in the USA. The role includes basic repairs to heating/cooling, plumbing, carpentry, and utilities, as well as routine site upkeep and safety compliance. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, up to two years in related work, and a valid driver’s license. The position is on-site with no remote work option.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Generally less than 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance.
• Light electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC repair skills required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Regularly stand, walk, reach, talk and hear; lift 1-50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all buildings, property and equipment for the site.
• Perform routine HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry repairs.
• Replace worn parts, hoses, wiring and belts as needed.
• Operate snow removal equipment for parking lots and sidewalks.
• Ensure safety rules are followed and equipment is in good condition.
• Assist with moving furniture and unloading or storing supplies as needed.
