Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to upkeep all buildings, property, and equipment at the Tolleson site. Responsibilities include HVAC repairs, carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks, and routine building maintenance to keep the site running smoothly.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED with 3 years of related experience (or a combination of education and experience). A valid driver's license is needed, and overtime may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with 3 years' related maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in light electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site.
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Perform routine carpentry work in repair and maintenance of buildings and offices.
• Replace worn parts in machines and equipment such as trucks and mowers.
• Operate snow removal equipment for parking lots and sidewalks.
• Ensure all equipment and buildings meet safety and recon department standards.
• Keep the premises clean and well-maintained.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence initiatives.
• Move furniture, unload and store supplies as needed.
• Overtime may be required based on business needs.
