Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to keep our facilities clean, safe, and well‑functioning. This on‑site role performs routine maintenance across buildings, equipment and grounds, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

Day shift at a Cox location in Massachusetts, with potential overtime as needed. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, are able to work independently, and communicate effectively with staff and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to work independently.
• Effective communication with staff, management and customers.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site.
• Perform minor repairs and general maintenance on furnishings and HVAC systems.
• Maintain exterior and grounds; perform cleaning duties as needed.
• Keep tools and equipment in good working order and follow safety rules.
• Follow safe operating procedures for cleaning solutions and machinery.
• Demonstrate safety by following procedures and supporting safety activities.
• Assist with supplies and deliveries, and other duties as assigned.
• May work overtime as business needs dictate.
