Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support a 350-acre Tucson campus and nearby downtown building. You will perform routine and preventative maintenance, monitor systems, and coordinate vendor work to keep facilities safe and efficient.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift 100 lbs, and a valid driver's license. You will join a team with on-call rotations and opportunities to cross-train across sites.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience in operation of commercial buildings and equipment.
• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Participate in on-call, after-hours and weekend rotation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a helpful attitude when interacting with building occupants.
• Valid driver's license, clear driving record, basic knowledge of computer applications and ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Ability to work from a ladder, work overhead, smell smoke and other chemicals, hear changes in equipment sounds, and be able to work outside in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building equipment and systems.
• Conduct daily rounds, interpret system readings.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work.
• Perform general repairs/adjustments to building systems, lighting, and plumbing.
