Job summary

Community College of Aurora is seeking a Facilities Department staff member for full-time maintenance of buildings and grounds. The role covers general upkeep, carpentry, painting, and fixture installation to support a safe and functioning campus environment.

The candidate will assist with HVAC tasks, BAS adjustments, and basic electrical/plumbing repairs, while supporting event setup and large campus operations. A valid Colorado driver’s license and passable background check are required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing and HVAC.
• Must be able to exert up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 20 lbs. constantly.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance & Repair: light carpentry, painting, drywall repairs; install/hang fixtures.
• Systems Support: HVAC tasks, BAS adjustments, electrical and plumbing troubleshooting.
