Zusammenfassung

Colorado Mountain College is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to perform a broad range of preventive maintenance, repair, and custodial tasks across college facilities and grounds. This role may act as a specialist or lead on projects and will back up the Facilities Manager when needed.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree with 3 years related experience or a High School/GED with 4 years related experience; relevant trade certifications are desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position: Associate's Degree with 3 years related experience, or High School/GED with 4 years related experience, or equivalent.
• Professional training and certifications in facilities maintenance are desirable.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, locksmith, masonry, painting, carpentry, and/or auto mechanics; general office equipment and technology proficiency; custodial experience not essential but beneficial.

Aufgaben

• May help train other employees and mentor less experienced team members.
• Serves as a back up to the Facilities Manager when needed.
• Lead or participate in designated projects or functions as assigned.
• Perform a wide range of maintenance, grounds, and custodian duties to keep facilities clean and functional.
• Maintain and repair campus buildings, utilities, vehicles, equipment, and grounds.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment including plumbing, heating, ventilation, and filtration systems.
