Job summary

Transitional Services for New York, Inc. (TSINY) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support residential and outpatient programs in the New York City area, including Queens and Bronx. Travel between sites may be required.

The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining facilities and equipment in accordance with safety and preventive maintenance plans, ensuring reliable operations and client safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; completion of technical school preferred.
• Possession of a New York State Driver's License and safe driving history required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facilities and equipment.
• Ensure safety and preventive maintenance per plans and codes.
• Perform routine plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and related tasks.
• Drive staff to job sites and support site operations as needed.
• Maintain and keep facilities clean and safe; respond to on-site needs.
