Job summary

OPW Clean Energy Solutions in Cleveland seeks a Facilities Repair Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and ensure continuous operation of building infrastructure and utilities. You will support HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, plumbing, and custodial oversight while coordinating with external service providers.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, vendor management, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of technical college in HVAC, electrical, plumbing or carpentry.
Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Ability to work 8-hour shifts and overtime as required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PC hardware and CMMS.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and facilitation skills.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe, clean, and regulatory-compliant building environment.
Ensure restrooms, offices, and common areas meet cleanliness standards.
Support daily operations to ensure continuous facility uptime.
Engage with building infrastructure projects and utility tasks.
Source and secure vendor contracts for groundskeeping and landscaping.
Manage third-party contractors for lawn care, snow removal, and exterior upkeep.
Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and coordinate on-site visits.
Perform preventative maintenance on building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
Read and interpret building plans, manuals, and diagrams.
Adhere to facility safety rules and wear required PPE.
