Job summary
Acuity Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our industrial facilities. You will rebuild equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with assembly cells while learning from a cross-functional team.
The role requires basic welding, electrical and HVAC skills, and flexibility for overtime and weekend work; OSHA-style safety practices are essential to keep our operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Rebuild equipment and learn for future tasks.
- Hands-on use of hand tools and saws daily.
- Preventative maintenance experience or understanding.
- Some basic welding is a plus.
- Repairs to assembly cells and safety device installation.
- Team oriented with multiple instructors.
- Flexible and able to work overtime/weekends.
Responsibilities
- Moving office furniture and warehouse material.
- Ground facility maintenance and upkeep.
- Snow removal and salting when necessary.
- Perform manual material handling of parts and equipment.
- Lift 50 lbs or more for projects.
- Maintenance on dock doors and warehouse areas.
- Use Excel, map printers, and perform online audits.
- Demonstrate safety in all tasks.
- Basic electrical and HVAC skills.
- Lock out tag out: understand importance.
- Drive a floor scrubber and stand-up forklift.
