Job summary

Goodwill Gulf Coast in Mobile, AL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and upkeep multiple sites including stores, donation centers and offices. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs and installations, operate power tools, and ensure safety and image standards are met.

The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, physical ability to lift heavy items, and flexibility to work mornings, some evenings, and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• 2-3 years of maintenance experience required.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle for agency driving duties.
• Ability to lift heavy items and work at heights as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, tools, vehicles and facilities.
• Remodel, refurbish, install store fixtures and paint interiors/exteriors.
• Operate various powered and non-powered tools safely.
• Pressure wash, clean windows, and maintain grounds as required.
• Respond promptly to maintenance needs to ensure customer service standards.
