Job summary

Goodwill Southern Los Angeles County is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform skilled maintenance across retail stores and facilities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems.

The role requires 2–4 years in facilities maintenance, a skilled-trade certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel between locations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, retail maintenance, or related trade.
• Certification in at least one skilled trade.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between retail locations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building repairs across stores and facilities.
• Lead on more complex projects with scope, plan, and execution.
• Train and mentor technicians.
• Troubleshoot basic plumbing and electrical issues.
• Complete preventative maintenance and document findings with notes and photos.
• Maintain safety and OSHA compliance in all duties.
