Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee HVAC and building systems across our community. You will perform routine preventive maintenance, respond to repairs, and help keep residents' environment comfortable and safe.

The role requires at least three years in maintenance, knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and a valid driver’s license. Strong organizational skills and the ability to document work orders are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification a plus.
• HVAC certification a plus.
• Boiler Operator and Steam Engineer licenses a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related facilities.
• Inform supervisor of supply and equipment needs.
• Complete work orders within 24-48 hours.
• Maintain readiness for regulatory surveys.
• Ensure clean, safe environment for residents and staff.
• Coordinate maintenance with other departments as needed.
• Back-up to security and complete rounds and reports.
