Job summary

The Lord’s Place is seeking a knowledgeable maintenance professional to provide general building maintenance for our Palm Beach County facilities. Experience with residential HVAC is a plus, and proficiency with maintenance software is expected.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in building/grounds maintenance, and a valid Florida driver’s license. You will work under the Director of Property Management and collaborate with staff, clients, and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years building and grounds maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with clean record.
• Pass a DCF Level II background screening.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance inspections and reports findings to supervisor.
• Maintains agency buildings including cleaning, painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
• Keeps offices, floors, bathrooms and laundry areas clean.
• Communicates clearly and professionally with staff, clients, vendors.
• Follows OSHA safety guidelines and agency procedures.
• Assists staff with donations and food distributions.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director of Property Management.
