Job summary

Residential Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to service RSI buildings, grounds, and residential homes across East Central Minnesota, including North Branch.

The role is Monday–Friday with occasional call-in shifts, offering a wage of $20.00–$21.00/hour and full-time benefits. The technician will perform repairs, routine maintenance, and coordinate with vendors, while ensuring safe operation of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of hands-on maintenance experience and knowledge of building mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Experience coordinating and implementing capital improvement projects.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs at RSI facilities, including painting, flooring, electrical and plumbing work.
• Refurbish and maintain resident living areas and RSI facilities.
• Assess and diagnose maintenance issues; determine repair solutions.
• Perform routine building maintenance and basic HVAC/plumbing/electrical troubleshooting.
• Receive and respond to maintenance requests via ticketing and other channels.
• Coordinate repairs with vendors and supervise contracted services.
• Maintain RSI vehicles; coordinate vehicle repairs with vendors.
• Maintain exteriors and landscaping; ensure debris removal.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, residents, and vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.
