Job summary

Delicato Family Wines in California is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to support facility and production operations. Under supervision, you will service equipment, assist in preventative maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Building maintenance experience or equivalent in a related field.
On‑the‑job training offered.
General understanding of building maintenance and basic construction (plumbing, electrical, landscaping).
Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
Familiarity with safety regulations and ability to work occasional odd hours or in a moving vehicle.
Must be able to work indoors/outdoors, lift and carry items, wear PPE and respirators.
Ability to work at heights up to 50 feet, in confined spaces, and tolerate varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders and third‑party providers to maintain a safe working environment and proper tool usage.
Assist in executing preventative maintenance for buildings and equipment.
Provide emergent repair and troubleshooting across a wide range of equipment.
Clean, lubricate, repair, and maintain machinery using hand tools or specialized equipment; replace or repair parts.
Assist in testing electrical systems and circuit continuity with tools like a multimeter.
Participate in ordering and purchasing necessary parts and tools.
Comply with quality, environmental, and safety regulations (OSHA, ISO, FSSC).
Assist in maintaining exterior landscape, groundskeeping, lawn care, pruning, and irrigation.
