Position Purpose
Under direct supervision, the General Maintenance Worker performs routine work within established policies and procedures. The role includes troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, installing, maintaining, operating, and testing equipment to support facility and production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and third‑party providers to maintain a safe working environment, ensuring proper use of tools, training, and work conditions.
- Assist in executing preventative maintenance activities and schedules for buildings and equipment.
- Provide emergent repair and troubleshooting services across a wide range of equipment.
- Cleans, lubricates, repairs, and maintains machinery using hand tools or specialized equipment; replace or repair defective parts.
- Assist in testing electrical systems, verifying continuity of circuits in wiring, equipment, or fixtures with devices such as a multimeter.
- Participate in ordering and purchasing necessary parts and tools.
- Comply with applicable quality, environmental, and safety regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, ISO, FSSC).
- Assist in maintaining the property's exterior landscape, including groundskeeping, lawn care, pruning, and irrigation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Building maintenance experience or equivalent experience with emphasis in a related field.
- On‑the‑job training offered.
- General understanding of building maintenance and basic construction (plumbing, electrical, landscaping).
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- General understanding of safety regulations and the ability to work an infrequent or unexpected basis in a motor vehicle.
- Capacity to work indoors and outdoors, to lift and carry items, and to perform tasks while wearing personal protective equipment and respirators.
- Ability to work at protected heights up to 50 feet, in close quarters or confined spaces, and to tolerate varying temperatures and ambient conditions.
Work Conditions
- Operate a motor vehicle for company business on an infrequent or unexpected basis.
- Indoor and outdoor work with exposure to elements, temperature variations, and high humidity.
- Work hazards include dust, chemicals, fumes, gases, and noisy equipment; occasional handling of wine cases.
- Work may require the use of PPE and respirators, and working at heights up to 50 feet.

This is a Non‑Exempt position. The pay range for this position is $18.46 to $28.86. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
