Job summary

OLH, Inc. seeks a General Maintenance Worker to support DOE's Western Area Power Administration at the Phoenix, AZ site.

Responsibilities include maintenance coverage for ~116,800 sq ft of facilities and ~32 acres of grounds, performing repairs across trades, and ensuring safety compliance. The role involves assisting with room reconfigurations, reading system gauges, maintaining equipment, and providing on-call support as needed, including evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Government Background Clearance required.
• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two-years' experience as a General Maintenance Worker.
• Personal computer literate with knowledge of email and word processing.
• Experience with common hand tools necessary to perform the functions listed above in the Primary Responsibilities section.

Responsibilities

• Provides General Maintenance coverage for facilities space.
• Performs general maintenance, repair, and minor modifications of equipment and buildings.
• Utilizes hand/power tools and follows safety PPE and safety procedures.
• Assists in changing layout of conference rooms and arranging equipment.
• Observes and interprets readings on gauges, meters, and charts.
• Documents equipment readings and logs system operation.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, scales, and related tools.
• Escorts and oversees repairs or new construction to ensure compliance.
• Assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual preventative maintenance inspections.
