ABM Industries is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on commercial facilities in Wichita. The role involves electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs, plus routine inspections and safe operation of tools.

The position requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, and ability to coordinate with staff and contractors. A valid driver’s license and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs are needed.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of commercial building maintenance experience.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to operate hand/power tools and ladders safely.

Mansioni

• Handle special work assignments, projects, and trouble calls on shift.
• Inspect building areas and report deficiencies with improvement suggestions.
• Complete minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry as needed.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and maintain maintenance records.
• Coordinate work, gather tools/materials, and order supplies.
• Assist in winter maintenance of parking lots and walkways.
• Maintain life safety equipment inspections and emergency procedures.
