Job summary

Leventis Facilities is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Greater Baltimore area. You will perform a wide range of repairs and routine maintenance to keep electrical, plumbing, and building systems operating safely and efficiently.

This role requires hands-on experience with minor electrical and plumbing tasks, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a readiness to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certificate is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in general building maintenance or related field.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer skills for work order management and email communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Full-time; typical schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with occasional after-hours or weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and plumbing systems.
• Conduct inspections of facilities and identifies issues before breakdowns occur.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues within facilities and perform necessary repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Operate hand and power tools.
