Job summary

Wilsonart Temple is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep, safety, and appearance of the Temple facilities. You will perform carpentry, painting, flooring, roofing, concrete work, and assist in coordinating contractors to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, ability to read drawings, and a commitment to safe work practices. A high school diploma is required, with exposure to CMMS and office software a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/technical docs.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor roof repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Repair and replace damaged flooring and related materials.
• Replace ceiling tiles as needed throughout facilities.
• Carpentry tasks: framing, shelving, cabinetry, and office mods.
• Paint and touch up manufacturing facilities and offices.
• Concrete repairs on sidewalks, curbs, and structures.
• Maintain restroom fixtures and related accessories.
• Assist with exterior repairs and upkeep as needed.
• Coordinate and monitor outside contractors for projects.
• Communicate status and needs to management.
