Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a large technical facility in Santa Clara. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems to keep buildings running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical experience, good organizational and communication skills, and the physical ability to handle manual tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience or equivalent education
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards
• Physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs or more

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems.
• Deliver output by following procedures under supervision and guidance.
