ST CLARAS SENIOR SERVICES in Lincoln, IL seeks a Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Department in keeping our facilities safe and well‑maintained. You will perform a variety of groundskeeping, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure equipment and grounds are functional and secure.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction and maintenance practices, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of construction and maintenance practices.
• Light construction, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and landscaping skills helpful.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
• Must be able to adapt to changing work priorities.

Responsibilities

• This position works with the Maintenance Department to assist in maintaining, repairing, and improving the physical facilities.
• Performing a variety of groundskeeping, maintenance, and repair tasks to ensure our facility, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well-maintained.
