Job summary

The Village at Heritage Oaks Assisted Living is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe and comfortable for residents and staff. You will perform routine maintenance, assist with equipment upkeep, and support daily operations under the Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators.
• Understands basic principles of preventive maintenance.
• Clear communication and teamwork.
• Safety-focused and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools.
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
