Job summary

Waypoint is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Sanford, ME to oversee routine upkeep of buildings, grounds, and fleet. You will perform minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks, while ensuring safety policies and OSHA regulations are followed.

The role includes outdoor duties such as lawn care, snow removal, and deliveries to program sites. You will work M-F, 8a-4p, with a starting rate of $22/hour, reporting to the Director of Maintenance and Property Management.

Qualifications

• High school education required.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform outdoor maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and equipment including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Perform outdoor Grounds Maintenance tasks seasonally (lawn, shrubs, trash) and snow/ice removal when not contracted out.
• Maintain and service vehicles and boats; ensure registration and cleaning.
• Receive deliveries and handle lifting of items.
• Coordinate with supervisor and contractors to complete work orders.
