Waypoint Maine, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance tasks across our programs and facilities. The role ensures upkeep, safety, and compliance for buildings, grounds, and vehicles, with attention to potential hazards and improvements for Waypoint’s properties.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, performing outdoor maintenance, managing deliveries, and coordinating with supervisors to complete work orders efficiently.

Competenze

• High school education.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
• Must have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter.
• Must have valid driver’s license from state of residence and a clean driving record.
• Follow agency policies and procedures.
• Must be willing to attend mandated state and/or agency training in a timely manner.

Mansioni

• Keep buildings and equipment in good condition, including minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry, floor maintenance and painting.
• Follow outlined safety procedures.
• Outdoor grounds maintenance: trash pickup, trimming shrubs/trees, lawn mowing, raking, snow/ice removal if not contracted out, roof debris removal.
• Maintain and clean vehicles and boats; ensure registration and upkeep.
• Receive deliveries and handle lifting of items.
• Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain HIPAA/privacy compliance where applicable.
• Coordinate with supervisor to balance workload and schedules.
• Work with training coordinator for scheduled trainings and events.
• Attend trainings as scheduled.
• Assist with city/state/federal upkeep requirements for buildings/grounds.
• Coordinate tasks with Manager of Operations in Oxford Region.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
