Job summary

Stoney Point HealthCare Center is seeking a maintenance worker to keep grounds, facility, and equipment safe and functional in accordance with regulations and policies. The role involves coordinating with nursing staff, following daily maintenance tasks, and performing repairs across multiple trades.

The position requires basic education (10th grade) and physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, with routine computer use and strong attention to safety and resident confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, read and use a computer for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for assigned shift/area.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor immediately.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing staff in resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Replace bulbs and service lighting, clean windows, and maintain supplies.
• Ensure resident confidentiality and safe handling of information.
