Job summary

Astral at Auburn in Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for repair and maintenance of resident units as well as the grounds and common areas of the community.

You will follow safety procedures, perform routine maintenance across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks, replace bulbs, service HVAC systems, and complete work orders promptly to keep the community safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: 1+ years of general maintenance experience.
• Skills: Superb mechanical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Follow all established safety procedures and precautions when performing maintenance service.
• Maintain general plant and community to ensure a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
• Report all incidents/accidents, hazardous conditions, and defective equipment to your supervisor immediately.
• Assist with routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., as directed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on facility and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc.).
• Replace burned out light bulbs and service lighting and HVAC units as specified.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
