Job summary

Morada Senior Living is seeking a Facility Operations Assistant to join our on-site team in Texas. The role focuses on keeping residents safe, clean, and comfortable while performing routine grounds and building maintenance.

You will assist with repairs, basic HVAC and electrical work, and participate in preventive maintenance programs. A high school diploma or GED is required, with technical training preferred and prior maintenance experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Technical school education is preferred for maintenance roles.
• 1 year of maintenance and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents, guests, and team members.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, buildings, equipment and vehicles; complete service requests promptly.
• Assist in preventative maintenance programs and repairs to fixtures and furnishings.
• Support with HVAC, water systems, pumps, refrigeration, motors and electrical systems as needed.
• Assist with fire safety and disaster preparedness procedures.
