Job summary

MVM, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist in Ashburn, VA, to maintain and repair the facility, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for a warehouse-type training center.

The role requires hands-on work with tools, lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional heavier loads, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic electronics/electrical training, and the ability to obtain a government clearance.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to document repair work.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fluid environment.
• Quality and safety minded with OSHA familiarity preferred.
• Ability to work Weekdays, evenings or weekends as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure facility equipment and systems operate smoothly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility and shooting range; manage repair equipment inventory.
• Patch drywall, fix leaks, inspect roofs and range areas; coordinate with vendors and contractors.
