MVM, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist in Ashburn, VA, to maintain and repair the facility, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for a warehouse-type training center.
The role requires hands-on work with tools, lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional heavier loads, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, basic electronics/electrical training, and the ability to obtain a government clearance.

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for maintenance and repair of the overall facilities and all supporting structural, mechanical, electronic, and electrical for warehouse type training facility. The Facilities Technician performs general repairs as well as preventative, predictive and routine maintenance to ensure all facility support functions and equipment are in continuous working order. While performing these duties, the Facilities Technician will be required to stand; use hands and fingers to work with tools and small parts; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk, climb, balance, kneel, and crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Work Schedule: This position is essential to the operations and requires a flexible schedule to support the operation.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Standing/Walking/Mobility: 75% - 100% of the time. Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 75% - 100% of the time. Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 75% - 100% of the time, must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Fine Motor Skills/Dexterity: Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system up to 25% of the time.
