Job summary

Benevilla is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant at the Surprise, AZ campus. The role involves maintaining facilities and vehicles, distributing supplies, and supporting the daily operations of the maintenance department.

Training starts with a 6:30am-3:00pm schedule, followed by regular hours 11:30am-8:00pm, Monday through Friday. Requirements include 2+ years in maintenance, a valid AZ driver’s license with clean MVR, and ability to pass background and drug testing.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in maintenance work including basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, construction, and related maintenance tasks.
• Must possess and maintain a valid AZ driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Must pass background check and pre-/post-hire random drug tests and non-DOT physical assessments.
• Ability to use hand and power tools, lift up to 80 pounds, climb ladders up to 20 feet, indoors and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• As a Facilities Maintenance Assistant, you will help provide maintenance and ensure safety of all agency facilities and vehicles as well as the distribution of supplies and equipment.
• Responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the maintenance department.
