Job summary

F.N.B. Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support facilities operations in Lancaster, PA. The role focuses on electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks, plus light janitorial duties to keep the offices and common areas in excellent condition.

You will assist with moving furniture, installing fixtures, reading blueprints and ensuring safety standards are followed. The position requires good communication and customer service skills with a willingness to learn and perform a variety

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• General knowledge in plumbing, carpentry, service or machinery, electrical repairs, basic HVAC and use of basic hand tools, small power tools, voltage tester and continuity tester.
• Ability to read a blueprint.

Responsibilities

• Maintains electrical infrastructures and provides electrical services by changing lights and ballasts.
• Supports the need to rearrange furniture and equipment by moving equipment safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Performs general clean-up and janitorial duties and ensures grounds and parking lots are clean.
• Maintains plumbing infrastructures and provides plumbing services by changing valves and installing hot water tanks.
• Provides carpentry services like hanging pictures and installing door closures according to safety regulations.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
