Job summary

First National Bank is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join the Facilities team in Lancaster, PA. This role focuses on maintaining electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general facilities upkeep to support a safe, clean workplace.

The ideal candidate will perform repairs, safety checks, and light construction tasks while coordinating with the Regional Supervisor of Facilities. High school diploma or GED required, ability to lift 45 lbs, and willingness to work a hands-on role in a busy

Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
General knowledge in plumbing, carpentry, service or machinery, electrical repairs, HVAC basics and fluency with basic tools.

Responsibilities

Maintains electrical infrastructures by changing lights, ballasts, switches and outlets per codes and safety rules.
Rearranges furniture and equipment safely and efficiently without damage.
Performs general clean-up, janitorial duties and grounds maintenance on schedule.
Maintains plumbing by servicing urinals and toilets; installs hot water tanks per codes.
Provides carpentry services like mounting panels, hanging items and adjusting closures per regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
