Job summary

First National Bank Of Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support facilities operations in Ellicott City, MD. You will maintain electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems, perform light janitorial tasks, move furniture and ensure safety compliance while delivering reliable service to the building and occupants.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, ability to read blueprints, and physical stamina.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Ability to read blueprints and follow safety regulations.
Physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing.

Responsibilities

Maintain electrical systems: replace lights, ballasts, switches and outlets per code.
Rearrange furniture/equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform janitorial duties: clean offices, elevators, grounds as scheduled.
Maintain plumbing: valves, vacuum breakers, urinals/toilets, hot water tanks.
Provide carpentry: hang items, install door closures and trims.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
