Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical, plumbing, heating, sprinkler experience and CNC troubleshooting helpful.
• Previous production/manufacturing experience and use of hand tools strongly preferred.
• Degree not required; coursework is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair to plant electrical systems, plumbing, heating and sprinkler systems.
• Performs minor repairs to buildings and grounds.
• Installs new equipment or assists in installation.
• Maintains production and service machinery and equipment; may overhaul.
• Performs general carpentry in facility construction.
• Performs electrical hookups for testing valve actuators.
• Performs maintenance and limited troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
• Completes daily work reports.
• Performs weekly fire prevention inspections and related reporting.
• Handles hazardous waste in accordance with procedures and regulations.
• Performs facility or equipment repair welding.
• Opens and closes facilities as required.
• Works efficiently and aligns with performance standards.
