Job summary

American Dream is seeking an Operations Maintenance Technician to maintain all areas of the facility in good repair, both interior and exterior, with carpentry work focused on doors and door hardware.

The role covers event setup, plumbing repairs, landscape and snow removal, waste management, and painting of common areas. The candidate will work across shifts and collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a trade or vocational school in building maintenance or related field preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1–3 years' experience in building maintenance required.
• Strong knowledge in carpentry and door hardware.
• Knowledge of tile repair and installation helpful.
• Experience with landscape maintenance and custodial duties.
• Willingness to work variable shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to operate aerial lifts up to 35 ft.

Responsibilities

• Perform Marketing set ups for events (stanchions, stages, chairs, assembly).
• Carpentry work throughout the facility, especially doors and door hardware.
• Perform plumbing repairs and clear drain stoppages.
• Ensure safety of the work area and surroundings.
• Landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, watering.
• Snow removal using tractor, plow, snow blower or shovel.
• Empty waste, clean exterior areas with power washers.
• Assist with maintenance in parking garages (gate arms, lighting).
• Paint walls in communal areas, offices, service corridors.
• May operate Cushman cart for debris transport.
• Provide outstanding internal and external guest service.
• Maintain and repair American Dream property.
• Support maintenance team and other departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
