Job summary

Child & Family Services is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to perform skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance, repair, and construction tasks across mechanical, building, and electrical trades. The role supports quality improvement activities at agency sites and follows safety guidelines while maintaining equipment and tools.

The shift is Monday–Friday 6am–2:30pm with competitive pay of $20–$25 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge in trades such as Drywall, electric, plumbing & carpentry.
• Ability to operate equipment for painting, sprayers, scaffolds, ladders, etc.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have mobility to access multi-level buildings.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and related work as directed by Facilities manager.
• Follow safety guidelines in completing duties.
• Properly use, clean and store equipment needed to complete duties.
• Complete duties timely and responsibly.
• Operate maintenance equipment (saws, bobcat, power tools).
• Access multi-level buildings and ladders for repairs.
