Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will support preventive maintenance and repairs as part of CBRE’s Engineering and Technical Services team.

The role focuses on providing support, diagnostics, and repairs with adherence to safety and building codes, under supervision and with defined processes. Strong Microsoft Office skills and physical readiness are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required.
• Must be able to stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs/ladders and lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for building code and safety compliance.
• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
