FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician Associate in Boca Raton to support our property operations. You will inspect floors, maintain equipment, and perform repairs across drywall, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and more while adhering to safety procedures.

The role emphasizes customer service, positive teamwork, and flexibility for varying hours. Full-time non-exempt with comprehensive benefits is offered, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have strong maintenance and repair skills across painting, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities required.
• Customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine walking inspections of floors to identify problems and report to supervisors.
• Maintains work equipment in good working condition.
• Performs maintenance repairs in common areas (drywall, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, pool, plumbing, painting, flooring, and other general maintenance).
• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
• Performs casual labor as directed by supervisors while following safety procedures.
• Performs maintenance replacement and repair in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring and other minor repairs when a permit is not required.
• Must be able to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using it.
• Other duties as needed.
