Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Boynton Beach, FL to oversee the physical plant and general building maintenance. You will monitor, diagnose, and communicate problems across carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting and related trades, implementing preventive maintenance per company guidelines.

The role requires leading maintenance staff, scheduling tasks, managing contractors, and maintaining safety and compliance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
Strong maintenance and repair skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and related trades.
Computer literacy with Word, Excel and email.

Responsibilities

Maintains a safe environment throughout the building.
Supervises maintenance staff and directs work orders.
Plans, monitors and appraises job results; coaches and disciplines staff.
Assesses repair needs and estimates time; determines when professional help is required.
Monitors service contractors and building repairs.
Maintains inventories of maintenance supplies.
Develops disaster preparedness and response plans.
Completes repair work orders and reports.
On-call for emergencies and projects; schedules work.
