CBRE is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Washington to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems. The role involves inspecting systems, diagnosing problems, and assisting with installation and modification of equipment, under close supervision.

You will review work orders, support energy management to improve efficiency, ensure code compliance, and communicate clearly with teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 1–2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs+.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Use procedures to solve straightforward problems.
• Exchange straightforward information clearly and concisely.
