Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support the Manchester facility's safe, efficient operations across building systems. You will engage in preventive maintenance, repairs, and coordination with contractors for the on-site and off-site warehouse.

The role covers mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building automation systems, plus safety and compliance programs to keep the site in top condition. A 3+ year background in facilities is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years in facilities or industrial building systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.
• Assist in safety audits, inspections, and compliance programs.
• Coordinate repairs and contractor activities for off-site warehouse.
• Monitor equipment performance and maintain spare parts inventory.
• Operate and maintain building control systems and video surveillance.
• Support emergency response and safety training.
