Job summary

Amcor in Henderson, NV is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems. You will coordinate contractors, support safety and compliance programs, and help keep the off-site warehouse in optimal condition.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of facilities experience, ability to read blueprints, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred.
• 3+ years in facilities, maintenance, or industrial building systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC and building automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and organization skills; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility systems and equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
• Coordinate outside contractors and service providers for various tasks.
• Support safety, inspections, and compliance programs (HACCP, fire/safety).
• Maintain spare parts inventory, tools, and supplies for building maintenance.
• Act as first responder for facility emergencies and support security tasks.
